g-1 timing
I am rebuilding a 1980 g1 engine anf there are no markings for timing in the
flywheel area. DSoes anyone know a good place to set the adjustment ring to stsrt at a normal setting |

I always mark it before it is disassembled. Has yours already been moved? If not mark it now. If no marks were made, and it has been moved, the best bet is to look closely to the slots where the screws go to find the marks where the screws were tightened before.
