It is my bucket list bike. It started as 1980 HD ironhead though not too much is left as stock. Chrome gas tank came a gift shop window display in mass and chrome rear fender off chi show bike. Custom frame with later model HD forks with a 21" wheel. The engine is chock full of vintage speed equipment and pulls 7k thru all four gears. Custom chambered one piece per cylinder exhaust system with great but muffled sound. Pretty much built what I wanted in a HD ironhead bobber I never could afford earlier in life. Tons and tons of other items. Too many to list BUT tons of $'s also. I spent years getting all the right parts and a folder full of receipts as thick as a big city phone book.

Very cool. My first bike was a 79 XLH but it was such a pile of junk I spent all my time saving up money to fix it and rarely got to ride it. That was back in the 90's, since then I've ridden all kinds of everything but last year a buddy let me ride his 72 Triumph and it put he bug back in me to get another vintage bike so I found my current 80 hardtail. Noone knows who built it, the guy I bought it from had bought it from a kid who bought it from a family friend etc etc but whoever built it did a **** good job. Custom frame and pinstriping, newer tank & paint, 39mm front end off w/ 21" rim off a newer XL, S&S shorty B carb and open drags. All I've had to do was swap the bars and replace the saddle and I am currently waiting on braided lines so I can pull apart the front end and put on a single disc up there.

I have a Performance Machine 4 piston caliper with a disc in the rear and later HD caliper with a custom rotor up front all with braided lines and custom master cylinders all round. Love the sound of an Ironhead. I started on it in may of 2008 and took those just built pics in may of 2010
