I got the steeling 6" double a arm lift. I didn't have to do anything other than replace the starter ground cable that ripped out. (Kit didn't mention that it wouldn't work) I also had to cut, punch out and replace all the bolts holding in the rear leaf springs because they were rusted solid. I also replaced some old parts along the way.
Other than that it would of been an easy pretty straight forward install.

What did you do about the rear shocks? I was under the impression that you had the wrong shocks to fit the steeleng kit. Did you end up replacing those too or making them work? thanks

I'm guessing they probably worked fine. I just bought another one of the same kits for my DS and it came with adapters for the different style shock. I didn't need/use them because my shocks are the post style, but it came with the adapters for the eyelet style shocks.

It didn't mention those being included in the kit, and also the site still says the eyelet style shocks are not compatible, so maybe they changed something and added the adapters to the kit and didn't change the tech info.

I have been working on my cart for a couple days doing electrical stuff, and forgot about checking to see what shocks I even have
