If all 4 tires were mounted the same way on the wheels he could only have 2 wrong.

At that point he either had 1 mounted on the wheel wrong or 2 mounted on the wheel wrong.

He stated he had one mounted on the wheel wrong in his first post.

He later stated the tires were not mounted incorrectly on the wheels, he had installed them on the cart wrongly. Therefore, if one of the 4 was installed incorrectly there was also ANOTHER wheel/tire wrongly installed on the cart as well. Thus, my statement he had "2 wrong."

Whether the tires were mounted to new wheels or the ones already on the cart I don't understand why that would matter.

Am I missing something?

Nope I had two mounted opposite (front tires) opposite sides just didn't realize it. When I was struggling to get the old off and the new on I was paying attention to the arrows thinking forward but I was always looking down from the same side of the tire had I flipped the tire over it would have gone the other way so there is also a lft and right side of the tire I just got lucky except when it came to mounting them. What I learned is you orientating that arrow you need to think which tire on what side am I working on. I find the whole thing funny now all this to save $80 mounting cost. I spent $150 in new tools to save $80. I have two tire machines in my shop and neither one can handle a ten-inch rim

I share your pain when it comes to changing these small tires. I'd rather change a truck tire any day. LOL. At least you have the tools for future use.

And that's right. You can't have one (or three) wrong. Either 2 or 4 if mounted on the wheel correctly.
