Default 99 club car ds

I have a 99 club car ds I got new brakes and pads but when I put the pads on the drum won't go on the pads are to big, I searched to see if I got the right parts and I do I tried to find videos on it but not much, can someone please help me.

Might help if you could post what part numbers you bought for pads.

They may just not be adjusted all the way down...

Your issue could be as CP241 is saying. Also could be you have the shoes upside down. I've seen plenty of people do this.

Next to last picture, have you made any adjustment using that star adjuster on the bottom of the hub? The new pads are thicker and require adjustment in order to fit.

The adjustment is all the way in , I just got off the phone with the golf cart shop that I got the parts, and he said that the year my golf cart was a transition period when it went from my stile that is supposed to have one big pad and one small, he though that I had the new stile that has where both pads are big. I really appreciate your help, if I have more problems with it I will let you know. Thank you again.
