I built my own front lift, rear bumper & engine mounting plate and posted the pictures here. Site sponsers also sell these. Does this mean I stole there design?
Lots of posts on this site about guys building stuff instead of buying stuff.
I didn't get the impression 24610 wanted to go into production & sell them. He just wanted one for his own use.

24610, This part is designed and manufactured by Allsports http://www.allsportsliftkits.com/ they have a reputation for quality parts. Everything carts is a distributor with a reputation for outstanding customer service. I do not have one of these but if I were looking, I would have no reservations.
Those 2 companies have helped make this site possible. So, we all get a little defensive when someone wants to knock off a design.
The Opie and Aunt Bea thing well, that's just the personality of the site, and funny as hell

Welcome to Mayberry and Good luck 24610

Also is there anywhere I can get the specs to build it or buy it cheaper than 200 bucks. Anyone got any info? Thanks, Dustin

this is the part of the post that most did not like! by asking for the specs to build it, to copy it, theres laws against that [copy right laws] no one here has a problem with building there own parts. don't be lazy! take your tools and make your own shifter but don't ride off of someones else's design by asking for the specs!!!!

who knows maybe you can build a better shifter, many members get tired of hearing things [like how cheap can i do this for] or where can i get it for free!
i say if your only concern is how cheap can i do this for!... maybe they need to stick to hobby they can afford.

I kind of like the concept of that shifter and I am curious how it works taking it from side to side to a front back thing.

There is a bell crank inside the shifter housing that converts it to front to back.
