Default Bog

Hoping yall can help my out my wifes cousin bought his kids a gxt 804, with 295 he calls and its smoking and want run out unless choked and was getting oil in breather box ,he brought it out to shop and I adjusted valves .004 they were off ,took carb. Off cleaned . After doing this it pretty much quit smoking but still has a bog in it, I set low end screw 1 1/2 turn out from bottom still bogs, I took filter out and it will run just fine,so he goes gets a new filter put it in and it goes back to bogging , im lost now any help will be appreciated.

I still cant figure this bog out on my other cart I have to run mid choke most of the time. Could it be a adjustment in Tue linkages

Sure sounds like a plugged carb. I would pull the carb and reclean it. Make sure you clean all the jets and passeges, and make sure the float is set right.

Did you blow out all the tiny little holes with a air compressor?, the tiny ones in the throat area by the butterfly?

Yeah also shot carb cleaner threw them I like doing that so i can see it come out the other hole be sure all is clear im wonder if gas line is breaking down and getting stuff back in carb
