Default gas ezgo lifting must do's....?

Fairly new to the site. Been hanging around the electric ezgo and lifted cart forums. Building an electric lifted hunting buggy. The buddy thats helping me owns a rental cart business at a local course. Since seeing what I wanted and we are building in an electric. He's thinking of building one in a gas version. He has access(owns) several gas ezgo carts, from late 90's to mid 2000's.

What are we looking for in a cart to build a lifted hunting buggy? Best option in a gas cart? Any years that are better?

He wants to keep it fairly simple. 4" to 6" lift, with 20" to 22" tires. Wants to use a stock motor probably a 4 stroke. We understand what a lift and larger tires do to the gear ratio in an electric's torgue. And assume it do's the same to a gas. Will a stock motor and drive train do the job? What up grades would we need to do to get the most out of it? Thx!

We sure do appreciate all the help we've received with the electric build so far. Saved us a lot of time with our learning curve. Hoping to tap into the same help and knowledge here in the gas forum. Thx!

A 4"-6" lift will be fine with 22"-tires(they fit with 4",6" will just sit higher). It will perform decent Off-Road.The upgraded spring for the Primary(engine)Clutch, wouldn't hurt,it will give more low-end power.Hope this helps.
