What is Safe Maximum RPM for Robin 350 Engine?
I have a 1998 Workhorse 1200 that is lifted and has 22inX8in tires. I have installed a BU drive clutch tuning spring, a 1in shorter belt, and a 28deg cam in the driven clutch (for improved hill climbing). Also there is an installed dash mounted tachometer.
The maximum RPM I see under any conditions is 3050. I am about to adjust governor. |

You don't have to worry about max rpm on that cart, it has a rev limiter built into the ignitor box.

I don't remember for sure, but I believe it between 4000-4500. We always tighten the gov. spring until there is about 1/32" between the coils.
