I have spent the last two weeks trying to read everything on this forum. I am really excited to get started working on these. I plan on fixing up the non-running one and selling it to pay for new batteries and whatever else for the running one. One cart is a '99 EZGO TXT and the other is actually a '95 Yamaha G14 (this is the one not working). I've got the Yamaha torn apart right now (body panels and batteries removed) while I troubleshoot the electrical problems. Once I know it's running again I'll paint and do a restoration on the rest of the cart.
And I have to brag on my wife a bit here. She ended up talking the seller down to $75 delivered for both golf carts. He was motivated to sell and she's quite a negotiator! I think his wife had been pushing him to get rid of them for a while now and just needed them gone. I normally don't like surprises but that was such an amazingly good deal I was very happy. Thanks again! Looking forward to posting here more!
