I have ordered one, I have a straight pedal so I ordered the Type 1 config...that sound right?...some carts have an arched pedal, I understand thats a type 2.

Gen 1 has a rubber cover. Gen 2 is plastic. From your description, it sounds right. Two 40Torx will tell you for sure.

Mine was doing the same thing so i just changed my mcor and now its back to normal. Mine is a 2007 Cc precedent also
