If I were you guys, I would join the movement of replacing the lead and go with Li-ion Cobalt batteries. Any charger will work with them providing a BMS is installed which controls the charger preventing a overcharge condition. Wouldn't you like a battery that lasts 8 years or more for 1/3 the weight? I am NOT talking about LiPo Chinese junk batteries. Just a suggestion.

I was talking about conversion to Lithium being 3X cost of FLA. Sorry for the confusion.
