Cubby removal from dash on 96 DS?
Anyone know how to remove / replace the dash cubbys / storage bins on the left / right sides of a DS dash? Prior owner installed a radio and speakers and hacked them up .... just curious how hard to remove and replace if I can find a set.
The new stereo install is going overhead and a replacement dash will be installed. |

Re: Cubby removal from dash on 96 DS?
I completely stripped my cart a while ago to restore and mine were pop riveted in on the inside of the cubby holes themselves. I just drilled them out and plan on replacing them with new rivets, but sure you could use small nut and bolts if you dont have a rivet gun....

Thanks for the heads up guys
Much appreciated -- cart is an hour away and planning on loading up in a few weeks for 5 weeks where I can actually work on it. |
