Take the batteries out of it and remove the controller. Get a pressure washer and knock all that crap out of there. Put a plastic bag over the 16 pin controller connector to keep water from getting in it. The controller is very sensitive to water. Once it all dries, put it back together.

Removing the controller... Tried looking, but what part would that be. There's a part in there that has some type of "ribs". There's acid build up in that part. Sorry to be asking so many ???? But I'm new to these carts and don't want to mess anything up. What better way to learn than from people who know what to do. Should I do anything th protect the frame or anything, paint, line with something, etc?

Mine gasses ALWAYS. Even weeks after charging and no use.

This is the controller... The frame is aluminum. It needs nothing.

Ok, so after taking off this one part and covering the other things mentioned above, I'm good to wet the rest? Mix baking soda and water or just use hot water right?
