Removing the controller... Tried looking, but what part would that be. There's a part in there that has some type of "ribs". There's acid build up in that part. Sorry to be asking so many ???? But I'm new to these carts and don't want to mess anything up. What better way to learn than from people who know what to do. Should I do anything th protect the frame or anything, paint, line with something, etc?

Mine gasses ALWAYS. Even weeks after charging and no use.

This is the controller... The frame is aluminum. It needs nothing.

Ok, so after taking off this one part and covering the other things mentioned above, I'm good to wet the rest? Mix baking soda and water or just use hot water right?
