Default Keeping battery area dry????

I have my inverter & fuse block mounted in the empty area next to the batteries, but noticed when driving over muddy/wet terrain it gets wet.

I attached a plate on the underside but the majority appears to be coming from the rear well, through the gap between the fender & liner/guard.

Any ideas?

I thought about buying a waterproof box to keep everything inside but figured I'd ask here first, because I can't be the first with the problem.

Thanks!

I made a cardboard template, then chopped a piece of seat foam to stuff in there. Its a tight fit & shouldnt move.

there is a rubber product used to seal the valleys in roof systems-the name escapes me at this time -but is self adhering and if you can put a layer on both sides it will never come off....kinda like rubber duct tape....i think they use a product like that in nascar to patch damage....

I never had that as a problem until i had to diag & repair so many carts with the "ITS to 0-5k adapter". Those are not sealed, and hate golf course material & water in them. I dont think you have that, but, thats what caused me to make my solution to your question.
