Default Electric Club Cart slight surge than stops.

Electric Club Cart 2002, 48v, serial number AQ0338-325545, slight surge then stops. Will not move forward after it stops in reverse. It clicks a couple times after stopping, then doesn't click anymore. I changed the solenoid. I also went through the OBC reset instructions I found on this site. The only thing is, I could not get the reverse buzzer to sound as described in the instructions. The batteries are new and fully charged. This summer it started to die after we were moving along fine, and had to let off the throttle to make a corner, then it would not continue to move when reapplying the throttle. We would have to turn the key off and try a few times to get the cart to move again, but it would go enough to get home. Now it only surges a bit and stops and that is all it does.

Thanks in advance for your help!

The reverse buzzer does not make a sound when resetting the obc on your model cart. Just unhook battery neg cable for 10 minutes, then reconnect.

Try the pressing of the Go pedal about 20-30 times with the key off. Then try your cart. If it works better you likely have a bad MCOR.

You could also have a loose wire on key switch, or bad switch. The Tow / Run switch could be bad???
