Re: wiring question
Maybe it's operating as designed. I'll try a new flasher relay just to see.
The front flashers/turn signals continue to flash when brake is applied, it's just the rears that do not flash when brakes are applied-but continue to flash after you release the brakes. Brake light timer works as designed. |

Re: wiring question
If You did not have the turn signal module on the steering wheel, the brake power would go directly to the rear bulbs white and yellow wires.
When You add the turn signal module to the steering column, the brake power no longer goes directly to the bulbs, it should just go to that module. The turn signal module determines if and which of the 4 unique wires (Front: Green and Red, Rear: Yellow and White) get steady power or power that has been routed through the flasher module depending on its position. Make sure the power coming out of the brake switch is not somehow wired directly to the brake light wires. |

Re: wiring question
I'll recheck all the wiring connections at the brake switch (located under the floor). Seemed to be pretty straight forward when I installed the brake switch and timer.
Appreciate the info. |

Re: wiring question
Hello All,
Wiring question I can't figure out. Please help and pardon my stupidity but new to the cart world having recently purchased a 2007 CC DS. Has everlasting turn signal switch that came unlodged from column clamp. Aside from harness there was a white wire running to switch that came loose and turn signals no longer function. Took apart switch and found no evidence of where it may have been connected. From search on forum, seems to be a grounding wire but cant figure where to connect. Tried making contact in various places but no luck. any suggestions or help will be greatly appreciated and I apologize for what is probably a real dumb question for some. Not sure if this is hijacking and maybe this is supposed to be new thread? If so, newbie error. Last edited by ccrob; 05-25-2016 at 04:30 AM.. Reason: not sure if this should be new thread? |

Re: wiring question
The resistance for the LED bulbs is too low to trigger the flasher...need a zero resistance flasher designed for LED's or add resistors to each bulb to fool the flasher...😎
