Understand that. Just keep working with it. Maybe the weather will break soon.

They should have the same amount of threads on each side.

pretty sure they don't I backed the jamb nut off all the way on both...one turned many more times that the other. I'll confirm though.

assuming they aren't the same...it sounds like the solution is to pull that whole assembly off, thread them all the way in, reinstall, turn rod to set toe??

Just pull the side that is longest adjust tow with that side. Or shortest if that's what it takes.

OK so I believe I got the camber and toe set. The ball joints on the shaft connecting the wheels where threaded inconsitently - meaning one end had 1/2in of threads showing while the other had 1/4in. While not perfect - much better than before.

Now that I've got camber and toe, I moved on to the steering. As I assumed I could only turn the steering wheel 1 full turn to the right and then nearly 2 turns to the left (from where my tires where straight. So I found the center of amount of turn...then started working on the rod connected to the "rack" the steering component thing. I turned that out to move the tires back some. That worked...now my steering wheel is only 1/4 turn from 12oclock position.

So now I started with pulling the steering wheel - and I'm stuck. How do you get it off the shaft. I took the big bolt off but the thing is stuck...pulling shaking, and nothing. Soaking in WD-40 now...

Any suggestions on how to pull the steering off appreciated.

Do a search for removing the steering wheel on the CC. You'll see plenty of posts where other folks have had the same issue. Those buggers can be REALLY hard to remove.

Try soaking in Kroil over night and a rubber mallet to the center of the shaft to get it moving. Oh year, and a lot of pulling with the hands and pushing up with the knees at the same time. Have fun!

Got the steering wheel off...after reading the posts and a lot mentioned the feet on the dash/knees under wheel and pull technique - no idea how you guys get that to work, I felt like I was going to bend the dash/break the seat.

A couple of good raps with a dead blow hammer worked for me.

Cart is all aligned and ready to roll now!!
