You can always stick a plumquick bandit in it an be running an easy 20mph. That is what I did to start.

That's what I'm screaming....mine averages 10mph and I've yet to find any possible way of increasing speed without spending $300+

Do you really think the experts would spend 100's to get more speed if there was a cheaper way? Welcome to Real World.

Sometimes the best experts are the ones spending the money not the ones taking the money. And that my friend is the real world. Besides you don't know if you don't ask and I have yet to see anyone selling parts say hey you can do this cheaper

Perhaps you overlooked the use of the word "spend" in my reply.

Getting back on topic, the $225 PQ bandit is the cheapest way to get low 20s on a series cart. On a sepex cart it's a $24 magnet, but with series unfortunately it's not that easy...

Thanks for the input. I most likely will use the pq bandit, but it never hurts to ask. I bet it's been done !

This question is like the question about battery rehabilitation.
It goes like this :
"My cart shop says I need new batteries but, I see [snake oil] on eBay cheap that will bring my batteries back to life."
Yeah - if that worked we would all be doing it...

And the answer to this question is much the same.
You can put an enhanced motor into the golf cart but, increased performance requires increased amperage supply and that is where the problem lies.
The stock cart components are designed for golf, not off road, city streets, beach cruising, big tires, or rear seats.
