Usually long charging times and battery heat are the result of sulfated plates in the batteries.
The high current (and low cell surface voltage) is a bit unusual since the hard lead sulfate crystals increase the internal resistance of the batteries, have You added any "additives" to your batteries? |

Well after trying my best, topping the batteries off with water etc i threw in the towel. Purchase Trojan T875s. After installing them, hooked them up to the DPI. The batteries were at 50.2 before charging so they didn't take long. After 2-3 hours (I didn't keep track) they dropped down to around 5 amps and a little while after the light turned green.
