Default Precedent low erratic speed not MCOR issue

I have a friend with an 07 precedent that had a bad mcor. Had gen 1 pedal group so switched to new one with mcor 4. However cart is still jerky at low speeds. Hooked up handheld and get smooth 0-100% on monitor but cart won't move until 44% throttle sometimes. Tried new mcor with same result. Also changed out speed sensor, solenoid shows 0 ohms when closed and I can't find anything else wrong so I am leaning toward controller but am wondering if there is a way to test to verify for sure?

First we need to know, stock controller? Stock motor?, how old are the batteries and have you check voltage of the batteries? Have there been any mod's done to the cart? That will help on trying to figure what could be wrong.

The controller is definitely "stock" as in a 1510 controller? I've seen these symptoms numerous times when people replace the controller with a stock 1515 controller. The controllers look the same and mount the same, but they're not the same. The throttle is totally different. I've also seen people swap in used E-Z-GO TXT 48 volt Curtis controllers into their Club Cars and have issues as well. Need to know if the controller is indeed the original stock 1510 controller. If you've got a 1515 in it, don't worry. I can tell you how to make it work.

It has a 1510a-5250. I have a refurb 1510a-5251 that I was going to try if needed.

Ok. You've got the right controller. If the battery voltage is strong, and the MCOR signal into the controller is clean and smooth, the controller is the most likely culprit.

So the 5251 controller is the same as the 5250? Thanks Dave

It's got a little bit different software, but it's for the same application.

Dave I installed new 1510a-5251 and cart acts the same just like a bad mcor. At low throttle range it is jerky and sometimes motor won't even react until about 40%. Could it be a bad motor? Once I get up above 60% throttle smooths out but anything less causes issues. I am at a loss at this point for ideas!
