On top of everything each battery is reading 12.4. But when measured across it only reads 17.3

Re: Late 2001 club car creeps
12.3 volts? Your cart should have 8 volt batteries in it. Have you converted it to 12's? If so, that's fine, just want to make sure we're on the same page. So the solenoid is still not clicking, correct?

Re: Late 2001 club car creeps
Yes I converted to 12 volts cause I only use around house. I switched back to my old controller an it started working momentarily so I'm thinking I got my hands on a bad controller

Re: Late 2001 club car creeps
The controller has absolutely NOTHING to do with the solenoid clicking on a series car. If the solenoid is intermittent, you have other problems. It's either a bad connection, intermittently operating microswitch in the V-Glide/MCOR, micro on the back of the F&R switch, short in the key switch, bad solenoid, or bad on-board computer solenoid lockout circuit. Call me if you want to troubleshoot it over the phone. Get a multimeter in your hands and your cart stripped down enough to allow access to the controller and solenoid and I"ll be glad to help. Phone number is on our website. Link below.
