Yeah, (although on this cart they are white and black) those are the 2 that I had the most difficulty inserting. I'm guessing that the wire that should be connected to the tab to which the yellow arrow is pointing, isn't connected, but rather jammed into the space to which the red arrow is pointing.

Sadly, it is going to be Memorial Day weekend before I can look at it again.

The black and white wires were used in the 0-5kΩ throttle.

You will need to make sure the correct throttle type is selected in the Alltrax Controller.

WOW. Thanks for that thought. I was gonna go into all kinds of contortions, and use a lot of choice words, while trying to ensure the connections were good. It makes a lot of sense that the default programming of the controller might not match my throttle type.

Todd,

Sergio is correct. That's definitely the problem. I programmed the throttle setup on the Alltrax for the newer style throttle. I re-read all of our emails and you said it was going in a 2004 DS, but I see here on the forum that it's going in a 1994. That explains the confusion. Once you change the throttle setting it should be fine.

I'm finally back at my cart to address this. I figured that it would be obvious how to change the throttle settings, but I guess I'm not that smart.

What settings do I need to change so the controller will work with the 0-5K throttle?

Weird. The photos on my laptop are not rotated, but when I upload them they are. Never seen that before.
