Batteries like to be cold. Thinking PA is the perfect temp for them for storage. I store my cart and every other battery: spare car, boats, atv, lawn mower, and CC DS for up to six months. Just put a full charge in them, disconnect, lock the garage up an leave. In the spring put a charger on each one of them, then start them up. No issues to date. Been doing this for 10 years.
Where I'm at it can get to -40f for extended times, not very good for batteries. Down south they get into the 100's which also is not good for those batteries either. I hate giving advice on storage of batteries because it really is based on where you live and how successful you'll be. |
