What year and style (resistor, controller, etc.) cart.

Sounds like a fuse or similar if the entire cart is dead, but need the above info to try and help.

Check the harness fuse.

Not sure if last response posted so, the cart is pretty old, new motor, body, batteries etc, but all control in battery compartment look original. Not sure how to identify the parts. The harness fuse (10A) is intact so not sure what to look for next.

When probed with a meter and do you have power at and after the fuse? You really need to get out the DVM and start checking for power loss as if you start at the batteries and go out, you will find the issue.

Without knowing the year or details, we cannot pull up and drawing to try and help you, especially if it has been modified or redone.

Thank you for your input. I now have power to cart but meter does not work. I have power at the terminals but meter does not work so I will order a new one. The fuse looked ok, but I changed it and it solved the problem.

A Digital Volt Meter and Continuity check is essential for checking fuses and working on electric carts...

Get one of these meters > Carts Unlimited Meters
They have reverse polarity protection. Cheaper than buying replacements.

As for the older cart not running the micro switch on the F&R switch may have been burnt in the accident.
