Thanks for the replies. Tonight I am going to check alignment, tire pressure, and grease the fittings, and see if that helps.

I am still curious, though, does anyone else with a similar set-up as mine have handling concerns? I am still trying to understand if there is indeed something I can do, or if its just the nature of the beast. To re-iterate, at higher speeds, it seems that the road will throw me to the side every now and then, and there isn't one particular side that it favors. Enough to were I do wan't to correct it too quickly becasue its such a jerky motion. With my hands off the wheel, it tracks straight, (no pulling), so I think the alignment is good (still going to check), though.

Generally speaking:

Toe-out decreases in-line stability, it can be interpreted as 'happy to turn' (oversteer/looser).

Toe-in increases straight line stability, it can be thought of as 'happy to stay straight' (understeer/tighter).

I would agree with the Toe-in recommendation.

sounds like to me there is too much weight in the back . you might want to get some stronger springs / shocks for the back . or even some shocks for the front . I know when mine was doing this when I had 4 grown a$$ people on mine the back would drop down and pull the front up and then at high speed it was go all over the road so I stiffin the back up with H/D springs in the back and went to auto zone and got new shocks for the front (Gabriel PT# 81270) handles about better now .

I always heard the front tires should be very slightly toed in..... then physics will straighten them out when the cart is under way.

I have an IFS, tires are slightly toed in, inflated only to 8 psi. The cart drives fine with 2 people in it, gear on top & on the bed. If I flip the bed & have people in the back, then the steering definitely gets sketchy. Rear suspension is a basic block lift with stock leaf springs & coil over shocks (pretty stiff).

when u add people to the back its putting more weight over the back of the tires so I added a stiffer shock on the front so it would pull the front up . at one time I had only one shock on the front and with 4 people on the cart I could hit the gas and it would pull the whole front end off the ground

Sorry, paintdude, I missed your initial post. I think you are on to something, though. Although normally its just me, the wife, with my two kids in the back (both under 6yrs old), when I noticed it was really bad was when I had 5 full grown adults in it. Are replacing the shocks pretty straight foreward? Do you have to remove the body (specifically for the front)?

Dude, How could you\did you get away with only one shock on the front? Did you just take off the passenger side? Or did you have a fabrication set up like the old rear end of a Yamaha motorcycle mono-shock? (Yeah....I raced those in another lifetime....a long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away )
