My club car ds won't go in reverse

Can you disconnect the shifter cable at the transaxle and manually put it into reverse? Lots of times the fault is a seized or damaged cable.

If you can post a picture or more, that could aid in helping diagnose your issue. Might be something that can be spotted by someone with lots of experience dealing with these kinds of things.
