Default Club Car DS

I just replaced my regulator but my golf cart wont crank over when I put it in drive but if I step on the accelerator it starts cranking and then I drive it, and no I checked to see if I put it in serves mode. Is it maybe because I hooked the wires wrong. I could not find a good diagram on how to put it together.

I tried it and all the wires are ok but but still the same issue, the only thing I forgot to mention is that when it comes on it wants to move forward even though I have the golf cart in neutral.
