Default G1 will not turn over

Hey guys, I have a G1 cart. I was running around the farm the other day and it just quit. I checked the battery and it was bad so I got a new battery thinking all would be good. Put new battery on put it in reverse to back out of the shop, buzzer sounded like it should but when I push the pedal the only thing that happens is the buzzer quits. I checked the battery and it is fully charged and checks good under load, I checked the solenoids and they are working, I can hear them click and I verified with a meter they are closing. If I hook the battery up and put it in reverse the buzzer sounds until I push the pedal, then quits and will not work again until I unhook the battery for a few minutes and hook it back up, then backup buzzer works until I push the pedal again. I have voltage on the solenoids. I am lost at this point. I have turned the motor over by hand to make sure it didn't lock up, any ideas or any one had this problem before?

I forgot to mention I had checked the fuses also. I have also looked for loose or broken wires and checked connections all over.

What kind of battery cable ends do you have? Are they the clamp on type? I have seen them get a bad connection.

Check the negative connection: battery to starter generator.
