Lightbulb Club car ds 1985

Hello folks! So I have a 1985 electric Club Car Ds. I’ve changed all the solenoids out, rewired, got the reverse working and some other odds and ends thank to all the help here on the forums. Shout out to Sergio! Ty! I understand being an old cart it will kinda jump but I feel like this is overboard. You have to press the pedal pretty far down too. Any ideas or anything I can check or adjust? Here’s the link to YouTube of what it’s doing, take note of how far down the pedal has to go before it starts stuttering to a go. Once your full pedal to the medal I used my phone and clocked it at about 12-14 mph on flat pavement. Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated!! Ty!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H49fiaPFHB4

it looks and sounds like the first 1 or 2 solenoids aren't being activated. I'd guess a bad switch in the pedal box.

Since You replaced all of the Solenoids, make sure the pedal switches are activating them in the correct sequence by checking the wiring colors:

Yes the speed should go higher as each solenoid engages and as long as they are all switching in the correct order (left to right in the image above)as the throttle is pushed and you should be ok. Up on jack stands it may not seem like they are increasing much in speed because there is no load on the motor and even at low throttle its spinning quickly.

The first click is the master solenoid and the car will not run.

The second click should be the slowest speed, if You get no movement at all, make sure the Resistor coils are not broken between the solenoids.

The red wired is master? Do I start with that one then press green and should be slow speed right? Just wanna make sure I get the right side. In the video I pressed the switch for the black wire then down the line. Ty!!

Correct, Your specific sequence should be: Red, Green, White, Blue and Black.

If the cart does not move when You activate the 2nd Solenoid with the green wire, only a broken resistor coil would cause that to happen.
