Default PowerDrive Charger

I plugged my charger in last night and it made a loud humming noise...louder than the normal when the charger kicks in. It did this for about 2-3 seconds and then it kicked the little breaker on the front of the charger. Any ideas of what may be causing this? Thanks for any help you can offer.

probably shorted diodes!! remove the cover and I will help you check this out if you can take a picture of the insides as this would be helpfull.

if you can find the diodes, you can disconnect the wires coming from the transformer and plug it in. it should not trip.

Thanks gaminde...I figured out what the problem was earlier and ordered a new rectifier. I went ahead and ordered a new relay and breaker as well, figured I might as well change it all while Im doing the one.

I have a power drive charger that I got with my cart. The previous owner has the relay bypassed. Since I did not move the wires, I do not know how they are supposed to be connected. Can somebody help with a picture please? Thanks.

There are several different models of PowerDrive chargers. What is the 5 digit model number?
