Need some advice on rebuilding my G9 cart motor
I am new to this site and really the whole working on golf carts. I have had a G9 for a while now and it is smoking, and bogging down and just struggling pretty bad. I have talked to a small engines mechanic and looked around on here and everything seems to be pointing to the piston rings being wore out. I am thinking about rebuilding it myself just as a project and hopefully to save some money. I am wondering if anyone can tell me exactly what I NEED to fix this. like all the parts that I need. Anything that is necessary to do this job. I know the basics of it and believe I can do it. If anybody can give me some advice as to how hard the job is and how long it will take me? and as I said before I would like to know all the parts that are absolutley necessary?
Thanks guys, Zach Last edited by Ingram1044; 05-02-2013 at 10:28 PM.. Reason: Needed to fix the title |
