2006 DS gas cart will not stay running
I have a 2006 DS that will not run longer than about 15-20 minutes. So far, I have changed the fuel filters, installed a new fuel pump, and even cleaned out the carb, tonight. The cart will run fine, until there is no more fuel in the filters. The next day, there will be fuel in the filters again, and will run until that fuel is gone, and the process starts all over again. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks! |

There is more than one filter?
It sounds to me like a fuel pump issue, and since you have a new one, the pump may not be getting proper pressure from the crankcase to deliver fuel. |

One between the tank and the fuel pump, and one between the pump and the carb

Both filters have been changed. It definitely sounds like a fuel prime issue, but I am stuck on where to go from here. Thanks!

Re: 2006 DS gas cart will not stay running
I would pull the fuel line off the pump between it and the carb, then crank the engine over and make sure a steady stream of fuel comes out the entire time.

Re: 2006 DS gas cart will not stay running
Once all of the fuel is used from the filters, the cart will not run, due to lack of fuel. Once it sits overnight, there seems to be fuel and it will run again.

So we know it's a fuel delivery problem, the pump only pumps fuel when the engine is cranking or running. Check the suction line that goes from the pump to the crankcase.
