How strong is the gas motor rear axle assembly?
I plan to keep my 2 stroke cart motor in "stock form" but have enjoyed reading the big block section about guys hooking much larger engines to stock rear ends. I would think that oem equipment would be built strong enough for what they put in it, but not much more...
If I were to "rod up" my motor (I'm just saying what if...) do I have to worry about the rear end, or are they way overbuilt. IF I did, it would only be a sane port, polish and breathing (in and out) mods, nothing radical. Inquiring minds want to know..... |
