Spark Plug Wires
Are these Ez-Go spark plug wires just normal spark plug wires ? Would there be ANY benifit to upgrading to something like Accel plug wires ? Not that I have anything against oem stuff... but if I can upgrade- why not.

I went with an Accel wire on my 2PG just because it LOOKED cooler :)

I'm using an Autolite 8mm I had here that is almost new and it works fine on my old 2pg motor
Any better or not I can't tell because I've changed a lot of things on this cart since I got it. Overall it runs like a champ. |

I have not disassembled anything yet, but it looks like the ends that are opposite the plugs are a "unit" of some kind. it does not look like a standard spark plug wires.. Yet again, I have not been under the hood of a car in 30 years

those wires are "glued" into the coil. They are not replaceable by themselves. Now if you had a pre-mci engine you could replace them. They would unscrew from the coil.
I actautly messed up when i first started and removed one of those wires. While trying to clean all the "glue" out i broke the terminal off in the coil, So that customer got a new coil/wire combo. |
