![]() I have purchased a 1999 yamaha 48 volt and not sure what kin it is. The guy said it ran last year with no problems. He said he left the charger on and it over winter and came out and it wouldn't charge. He also left the run/ tow switch on run for the whole winter. I've charged the batteries up and put the charger on it but nothing until I jumped The solenoid wire on #6 battery to the other side of the post. After that it turned the charger on but the incomplete light came on and so did the charge light. After about 10 min. it kicks the breaker on the charger.
With the wire jumped on the solenoid and switch on reverse it beeps but I I press the pedal I get nothing and also in forward it won't do anything. I've gone through this forum for about 4 hrs. and still am at a loss. Any help would be much appreciated. I'm new to golf carts so I'm still learning alot. I'm not new to working on vehicles, just electronics on them has me stumped. |
