1st Post..looking for info on a club car that was given to me

Hello to all,,,,,,,

was hoping to get some info on a club car "gasser that was given to me yesterday by my mother.....

I asked her to get some of the specific info off of the info tag and here is the serial #

AG 9649-547224

she also says that it mentions "KAWASKI" in the engine code

could somebody tell me exactly what it is that I have gotten my hands on??

is this a good model? what engine/hp might be in this cart, would this model make a good "hunting" buggie????

I was wanting to lift in and paint it green or Camo and add some sort of bed in the back....

any info I could get would be greatly appreciated

You have a 1996 Club Car. Your Mom is right Kawasaki fe290 engine w/ 9hp. And Yes to all your questions

Lucky you. You got a good one. The 92-96 Club Cars are great. It's a really good motor. You should thank your mom very much.

They make excellent modified carts. Have fun with your new project.

check the list of sponsors on this site for ordering upgrades and aftermarket parts. they are great to deal with.
