Yeah that was my thinking, could be dictated by funds/availability in Australia though.

Standard txt lift should work. What year is it? And how many bolts hold the steering column to the floor?

Re: EZGO MPT1000 (Workhorse) from WA
The littl plate from inside the passengers dash is missing so I'm not entirely sure, but fairly confident that it's post 2001. I'm assuming the batteries are the original ones and they have a number 1 on the terminals so that means 2001/2011 right? Four bolts on the floor.

Charge them fully then wait 12 hours and test each one. 2001 will be likely shot, while a 2011 will likely reach close to fully charged.

Re: EZGO MPT1000 (Workhorse) from WA
Yep already done, most came up to around 6.3v a couple only just over 6v so I'd guess 2011 it's done about 1300hrs not sure if that's a lot or not...

Re: EZGO MPT1000 (Workhorse) from WA
If the steering box is under the dash, it is pre 2001.5. If the steering box is on the front axle, you have a 2001+. I'll look up a part number for you. There should be parts manuals in the tech section. I used and recommend a drop axle.
The time on the batteries and the care given to maintenance makes an hour reading about useless. Check the specific gravity of the acid in ea. cell for truth. I know Trojan uses a number system on the negative terminal for man date. |

Front axle. Thanks for the help fellas I appreciate it, sorry if I sound like a broken record, just want to make sure I'm getting the right thing before I order and pay for a kit from the other side of the world!

Re: EZGO MPT1000 (Workhorse) from WA
Are the brake cables connected above the rear axle or below?
