Checking rear differential oil level in EZGO RXV electric
Does anyone have a link to the directions to check, and if needed, add oil to the rear differential of an electric 2009 ezgo rxv? What weight of oil do I use and is it a special ezgo oil?
I appreciate all the help!! |

Re: Checking rear differential oil level in EZGO RXV electric
No easy way to "check the level". If it is not leaking, assume its full, or even better, remove the pan (which will drain all fluid), replace pan with a little gasket sealer (no gasket was used). The tricky part is adding the proper fill amount. Easiest way i have found is remove one axle shaft and put 740cc in through that axle hole. Fluid should be 75-90w with friction modifier (yamaha product "ACC-SHAFTLU-00") is a suitable lube with friction modifier already in it. Any "GL5" from the parts store and 2oz of friction modifier will do also.
