There is no field map for series motors. That looks like a series motor to me not shunt.

What would be a good company to go back with? D&D, plum quick, amd, or emp?


I bought everything for this build from a wrecked off road cart for $400. I've gotten a lot of use out of it.

I'm partial to plum quick, because they were the only ones around that would touch it. They completly rewired the cart and gave me a great deal too.

But I also would like to go with a motor that would give the best speed and life. If money was no object I'd like to regear the rear end for really high speed.

Any suggestions and real world experience would be a great help.

Ah, never mind then. I see it now, I was too focused on the armature bars..the red one in particular. I am only now noticing the field windings =X
