2003 TXT PDS - Rebuild
Hey Guys....
I thought I would start my own rebuild thread and keep my questions in the one place. I bought this one used from a golf course. The batteries are toast and need to be replaced, as well as the seat. The dash has a couple of small cracks that can easily be covered up with a dash overlay. When I took the batteries out, the tray was toast. Lucky my buddy is a welder and it was a quick evening project. Sprayed it with a good coat of black paint and then rocker guard paint for a little extra protection. Waiting on quotes for wrap and one for paint. I will be using 2g welding cable for new battery cables. Had to put a new plug on the charger as someone had cracked off the ground, also put in a new board. The original one only lasted me a couple of weeks. |
