Pro-Fit 48v charger question
I have been charging my RXV with the Pro-Fit charger in mode 2. It has 4 different modes:
#1 lead acid U.S. batteries #2 lead acid Trojan #3 lead acid Excide #4 lead acid Fulr I have the Crown batteries in my cart and when charging them the charger cuts off showing fully charged. Taking my tester and checking them they are only at 90% charged.I can charge them to 100% with a separate battery charger. My question is if I changed to another mode would I get a full charge from my charger? All the batteries are 4 months old and testing properly.Charger is brand new as well. I haven't changed the settings since the unit come pre-set in mode 2. I figured crown was very similar to the Trojan batteries. Your thoughts? |

Re: Pro-Fit 48v charger question
I suspect you need to put them on a higher setting. Check the owners manual or contact your dealer for the finish voltage of each setting and post that information here.

Re: Pro-Fit 48v charger question
From DPI direct, Crown is #4 selection, same as Full River.

Re: Pro-Fit 48v charger question
The owners manual says mode 4 for Crown.
https://pro-fitparts.ebizcdn.com/3b7...e70c7e8866b1a9 Titus is it a DPI sold under a different name? |

Thank you for this information. I didn't have a manual for the charger. Thanks again!
