Re: '99 TXT Rebuild project starting
Yep, that frame makes me jealous. Just last week I removed the batteries, scraped and painted the battery rack all the while thinking I should be doing this to the entire under carriage. Sandblasting and powder coating ???? Now I really feel bad! Thanks Jax!

Re: '99 TXT Rebuild project starting
If it makes you feel any better, it's not powdercoated. It's a tar based epoxy marine grade coating.

Re: '99 TXT Rebuild project starting
Most of the replacement parts are in, and I have about 95% Stainless fasteners. All the body bolts are phosphate. Now the real adventure begins!

Re: '99 TXT Rebuild project starting
Ok. In the interest of making *some* progress towards the rebuild, I installed the two splash panels back into the frame. In an effort to document details I spent waaaaaay too much time researching, they are part # 70244-G02, item 45 on page D-5 of the Service Parts Manual. While not called out on this drawing, they are fastened with 5/16-18x7/8 starter point Body Bolts. EZGO part number 00715G2, Hillman #881171.

Re: '99 TXT Rebuild project starting
I can put it together. It's in 3 or 4 different places. Give me a week.
