Default EZGO MPT1000 faster in reverse then forward

I have a 2007 ezgo mpt 1000 48v that just had the speed controller replaced in it. The controller is a Curtis 1268 48v. The cart now goes faster in reverse than it does in forward, and I am not sure why.

I had this problem to, reversed 3o'clock and 9o'clock wires on forward / reverse switch, it changes direction of lever but fixed the problem, lasted several months til forward reverse switch finally went out.

Didn't work I swapped the wires on the F&R rocker switch next to my key switch and same issue.

Return it if you can. That doesn't seem right at all.

The Curtis 1268 is a Sepex controller, just swap the Field wires F1 and F2 at the controller or motor, whichever is easier for you to reach.

Make sure you put the cart on Tow and disconnect your battery pack first.
