Default club car conversion

There is some good reading in the sticky about the converting the club car from 4 12volt to 6 8 volt batteries. The original post was from 2012, I wounder if there has been any changes or improvements since 2012. I have a 2008 club car precedent That I want to change to 6 8volt batteries. One thing for sure is that I will order the voltags reducer and fuze block kit from Scotty when I make the swap.

Your 2008 might just have the bucket that accommodates either 4/12's or 6/8's.
Is your controller and OBC on the back wall of the battery bucket or in the stack dividing the middle of the bucket?

I just completed a 6/8 conversion on an 04. Not really that tough and I am very pleased with the results so far.

read the sticky, do the conversion and get some 8 volt batteries in there!
You and your cart will love it.
