A bad MCOR could also cause that hesitation, You can also quickly troubleshoot that one by turning the key Switch OFF and pumping the pedal about 50 times.



If the cart drives better after that, the MCOR is the culprit.


Did the regen motors have MCOR's? Not arguing with you, just asking to learn.

Yep, those early regen years were full of surprises, in 2001 the Models with Serial # greater than AA0112 had MCORs:

In 2002 they were all MCORS.

I agree that RevolutionGolfCars.com is the best place to get a new MCOR if needed.

From the title of the thread, "2001 Club Car DS Identify"

If we were to use current events logic; what IF your cart "identifies" as an EZ Go?
Would that mean that there is no MCOR to be bad?
