Thanks.....
Someone on here took a round gauge and put a rectangular gauge into it,
But that would probably be even MORE work than making a rectangular hole...

You can keep a good eye on the state of charge at all times!

This one is popular:

Also, it would be a good idea to print this chart and keep it handy:

I printed it smaller, laminated it and taped it to the inside of the glove box doors on my two carts.

If you have the dash out, use a dremel tool with a 1/8" drill bit. After you mark your rectangle drill a hole thru in the center. Then bring the dremel up from underneath so you only see the bit. Go slow and keep a good grip on the tool and the dash. It will sometimes take off on you if your not careful. Once you cut out your rectangle, clean up the corners with a half round file. It works great. I have done this hundreds of times modifying plastics to custom fit stereo's.

That was me. I had an analog that was next to useless so I needed to fit a square peg in a round hole.

The best color for the meter in bright sunlight is Green. The Red and especially the Blue are hard to see.

I just ordered this one on Amazon. Looks pretty cool. Reviews are mixed, but for $15 I'm sure it will be fine
