Default Trojan Batts. Where vents?

Where exactly are the "vents" on the Trojan batteries?

You mean on the "gang cap", or the individual cell caps? The gang cap has a hole on each side, but in the middle length-wise. The single cell cap has a hole in the side of the cap, only on one side, and it should point away from the terminal (if it's in an "end location").

Yeah, exactly, that long "gang" cap on the T-875. My batts are new so I want to make sure I do everything right to get the most out of them. So distilled water when the start to get low? Would you recommend the fill bottles?

I do not use the fill bottle. I use a very long/skinny funnel that I can see into the cell around and I add just enough to be ~1/4 (and no more than a 1/2") above the plates.

You can put the water into any type of squirt bottle and be able to fill and watch the level at the same time

I replaced my "gang caps" with individual caps as the gang caps appeared to be leaking. Actually, they were leaking unless I tightened each individual cap by hand (not using the lever), which defeated the purpose. I believe there was some sort of lawsuit against Trojan for this issue?
