Default Wiring in voltage reducer question

I have bought the cheap 15 dollar voltage reducer in the past and did not do well well with my lights and marine radio.

I purchased a new reducer that is supposed to be 330 watts and 30 Amps

The wiring has the pos and neg in with a remote that goes to the key switch and the two reduced pos and neg out.

My question sits with the remote. Can I hot wire the remote wire with the main positive to have constant power beings I sometimes use the stereo and the lights when the key is in the off position.

Thanks nolefan. I figured the other one had no remote and have hot wired remote wires on car decks.

Planning on adding a set of rocker switches to control lights and stereo.

As you figured out, a lot of them come with the triggers now so they are not hot all the time and can be hooked up and triggered by the key or another switch somewhere.
