That makes a difference. SSDs are hands down the best speed improvement. They are so cheap on eBay now too.

I don’t know what SSDs are but i restored the laptop back to factory settings and disabled start up programs. I have windows 7. When i try to open up the toolkit page it says internet explorer cannot display the webpage then it showed a box diagnose connections problems. I click it but no solutions. I have opened other websites with no problem.

SSD stands for Solid State Drive, its your hard drive, the old mechanical style which has slow read / writes are being replaced by Solid State drives which have no moving components and are much faster.

Anywho, Download FireFox browser, its free and much better than IE.

“A computer with Windows XP SP2 /Win7/Win8/Win10
.NET Framework 3.5 or higher (run Windows Update)
USB A to B 2.0 Cable - A Male to B Female”

I would guess since you restored that laptop you need to apply updates to get to .Net 3.5. Don’t know where MS is on Win 7 support right now. You might be SOL.

For what is being heralded as state of art a Bluetooth an Apple app would be nice for a $500 investment.
